Eight-week Mindful Well-being Course for Adults

Developed in 2018, Living in The Present is a new style of eight-week course

to introduce mindfulness and well-being to adults. 

– and support people with a mindfulness practice to be more mindful in their daily lives.

The course focuses on supporting friendly, mindful awareness towards the full range of our experience in the life that we’re living. 

Living in the Present encourages gentle exploration and growing awareness of how things actually are for us in this moment. It introduces a variety of mindfulness practices that we can weave into daily life and can be chosen to meet and respond to what we discover in our experience, to support our well-being. Some practices are eyes open and others with eyes closed.

The course helps us build understanding of how mindful awareness and mindful attitudes can support us in the many different moments in our lives, both joyful and challenging. 

Living in the Present would support you well if you are working in education and want to train to offer The Present for Schools.
